Today I compiled TVHeadend 4.0.8 from the latest commit with that tag. The PVR HTSP TVHeadend client seems the same between OpenElec and OSMC. OpenElec's Oscam is version 10607. I also compiled that, and copied the dvbapi-way of connecting. Opening streams via VLC does work, but when the WiFi is bad the picture is bad as well. I had the TVHeadend server on the PiB3+ running OSMC and using just this Pi on its own with the TVHeadend HTSP client also on that OSMC Kodi install.

A few weeks back, after an update, I found that there was also an OSMC tvheadend server add-on (launch the ‘OSMC Settings’ add-on and check the App Store). The two versions were both installed and appeared to be in conflict (I may have installed them during initial set up and forgot about it).
